Introduction

The Rolex Daytona 126500LN, particularly the "Panda" dial variant with its iconic black-and-white contrast, remains one of the most sought-after luxury watches in 2025. With Rolex's official transition from the 4130 to the 4131 movement in their latest Daytona models, replica manufacturers have also stepped up their game. Clean Factory (C Factory), long regarded as one of the top-tier rep makers for Daytonas, has now released its version of the 126500LN equipped with the Shanghai 4131 movement. But how does it compare to the genuine Rolex 4131? Let's dive into a detailed review.

Exterior & Build Quality

Clean Factory has always excelled in case construction, and the 126500LN is no exception. The 40mm stainless steel case features improved lugs and a more refined bezel compared to the older 116500LN. The black Cerachrom ceramic bezel is nearly indistinguishable from the genuine, with crisp, platinum-coated numerals. The dial retains the classic "Panda" layout—white base with three black sub-dials at 3, 6, and 9 o'clock. The applied indices are well-polished, and the printing is sharp, though some users note that the lume could be slightly brighter under low-light conditions.
The biggest visual upgrade in the 126500LN over the previous generation is the slimmer hour markers and more refined sub-dial rings, which Clean has replicated quite accurately. The Oyster bracelet maintains the solid feel of the genuine, with correct brushing and polished center links.

The Shanghai 4131 Movement – How Close to Gen?

The biggest talking point is Clean Factory’s use of the Shanghai 4131 movement, replacing the previously favored Dandong 4130. Here’s how it stacks up:

Pros:

✅ Improved Aesthetics: The movement now features skeletonized rotor engraving ("Daytona" text) and better Geneva striping on the bridges, closer to the genuine 4131.
✅ 72-Hour Power Reserve (Claimed): While Clean advertises 75 hours, real-world testing shows ~70 hours, which is still impressive for a rep movement.
✅ Chronograph Functionality: The start/stop/reset functions work smoothly, and unlike earlier Shanghai 4130 movements, the chrono resets to zero properly.

Cons:

❌ Noise Levels: Some users report that the rotor is slightly louder than the Dandong 4130, though not as bad as older Shanghai movements.
❌ Finishing Details: While much improved, the engraving depth and sharpness on the rotor and bridges still fall short of the genuine 4131.
❌ Long-Term Reliability Unknown: Since this is a new movement, durability over years of use remains to be seen.
Verdict: The Shanghai 4131 is a major step up from previous Shanghai movements, but it’s not a 1:1 clone of the Rolex 4131. If you want the absolute best movement, the Dandong 4130 (in older Clean Daytonas) might still be more reliable, but the 4131 is the only option for a "correct" 126500LN rep.i1708338219_8185_4.jpg

Should You Buy It? Final Thoughts

✅ Get it if:
  • You want the latest Daytona rep with the correct 4131 movement.
  • You prioritize aesthetics over absolute movement perfection.
  • You don’t want to pay $30k+ for a genuine Panda Daytona.
❌ Avoid if:
  • You demand silent rotor operation (Dandong 4130 is quieter).
  • You’re concerned about long-term reliability (Shanghai movements have had issues in the past).
  • You only accept NWBIG ("Not Worth Buying Gen") tier reps—this isn’t quite there yet.

Final Rating: 8.5/10 – A great rep, but not perfect. The movement is the biggest question mark.
What do you think? Would you buy the Clean 126500LN, or stick with the older Dandong 4130 models? Let’s discuss in the comments!
